Itinerary

Day 1: Into the Wild

• 04:00 AM: Pick-up from your Jakarta hotel, drive to Bogor’s Pasir Reungit.

• 06:00 AM: Continue to Mount Salak Halimun National Park.

• 07:00 AM: Arrive at base camp, breakfast & safety briefing.

• 08:00 AM – 05:00 PM: Begin the trek:

  • Pintu Rimba: The “jungle gate” marking your entry into dense forest.

  • Kawah Ratu: Witness steaming vents and volcanic activity up close.

  • Post Bajuri & Post Bayangan: Classic jungle checkpoints for rest and refuel.

  • Puncak Manik: Reach the summit for breathtaking views of misty valleys.

• 06:00 PM: Set up jungle camp.

• 07:00 PM: Dinner by the campfire, sharing stories before resting.

Day 2: The Descent

• 06:00 AM: Wake up, breakfast, and pack for descent.

• 07:00 AM – 02:00 PM: Retrace your steps through Post Bayangan, Post Bajuri, and Kawah Ratu, with opportunities to spot wildlife like Javan langurs and hornbills.

• 03:00 – 04:00 PM: Return to base camp, enjoy a late lunch, and prepare to depart.

• Evening: Drop-off at your hotel in Bogor or Jakarta.

⚠️ Note: We don’t recommend booking flights on Day 2, as traffic from the mountain to Jakarta is unpredictable. If flying, schedule for the next day.
